Examination
During your examination, you will be given a series of tests that include a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination. The orthopedic tests are designed to test your joints and attempt to reproduce any pain symptoms you may have. The neurological tests will determine if there are any damages done to your nerves. The chiropractic tests willare done to know if chiropractic care will be beneficial to you.
The computerized thermography scanner is a heat sensing device that monitors the nervous system. Two preliminary readings are taken to determine your subluxation patterns. For subsequent spinal checks after the first adjustment, the readings will help determine whether your spine is getting better or worse. Future adjustments will only be made when the original pattern returns, and never according to symptoms. Research has shown that often slight changes to your spine may reduce your symptoms markedly. But, if you don’t receive a complete correction, your level of health will not permanently return to normal.
